RECEIVING YOUR INHERITANCE

ACTS 20:32
And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.

THE MEANING OF INHERITANCE
klhronomi,a {klay-ron-om-ee'-ah}
Meaning: property received (or to be received) by execution of the last will and testament of a deceased person.

YOUR INHERITANCE
LIFE
John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

PROSPERITY
3 John 1:2 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.

Psalm 35:27 Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the LORD be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant.

HEALTH
1 Peter 2:24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

SOUND MIND
2 Timothy 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

4 STEPS TO RECEIVING IT:
COMMIT TO GOD
James 4:7-8  Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.

COMMIT TO THE WORD
Hebrews 13:9 Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines. For it is a good thing that the heart be established with grace; not with meats, which have not profited them that have been occupied therein.

LET IT BUILD YOU
James 1:25 But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.

LET IT SANCTIFY YOU
Ephesians 5:26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,

HEAR IT WITH QUESTIONS:
Is there a warning for me?
Is there a promise I can claim?
Is there an example for me to follow?
Are there command I must obey?
Is there a sin I must avoid or confess?
Is there some encouragement I can take to heart?
Is there some new lesson about God I can thank Him for?
What truth is the Holy Spirit revealing to me that I can   share with others?
How can I use it to change my present circumstances or solve a problem I'm facing?

JUST DO IT!
